About Me
Thanks for visiting my website and I hope I can help you with your work!
I'm a Canadian, born in Toronto now living in Wakefield Quebec. I have long had an interest in biological sciences and got into entomology and the study of vector-borne diseases during my undergrad. I have a BSc and an MSc in biology and have conducted research on black flies, mosquitoes and hummingbirds. I have also instructed undergraduate courses in Invertebrate Biology and Entomology.
I launched my writing and editing career on a wing and a prayer and have since worked for clients that include Environment Canada, the Council of Canadian Academies and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
When I'm not in front of the computer screen, I head out hiking, canoeing, cycling, running, gardening and beekeeping. For funsies and a little bit of colour, I am an artist and a photographer.
